I purchased a CNC machine recently. This is a screenshot of the software, it's showing when the CNC machine should lift the bit from the material. Pretty cool, at least to me.

the oscillator is modulating it's own pitch by going through a divider that has each division mixed together to form a staircase

the envelope is driven by the pulses that happen on the divider and opens a buchla lopass gate

the sequencer is picking the waveforms on the oscillator. the clock of the sequencer is an LFO whose speed is determined by the mixed divisions
